Barbara is a Registered Dietitian and is a leading thinker on treatment of disordered eating. She has over 25 years of experience in the psychology of eating and weight issues, intuitive nutrition and health promotion.

She also is a Licensed HeartMath@ trainer – a major resource for stress reduction and emotional regulation training. In addition, Barbara is an Ordained Minister in the non-denomination International Science of Mind Church for Spiritual Healing and does Spiritual Health and Healing Counseling.

Training and experience

Barbara holds a Master's Degree in Public Health Nutrition from the University of California at Berkeley, and a Doctorate Degree in Spiritual Healing and Energy Medicine from Holos University.

Currently, Barbara is on staff with PsychStrategies Inc., Quest, an Intensive Outpatient Program for Eating Disorders, and on staff with the Integrative Medical Clinic of Santa Rosa, and Nutrition and Health Consultant at the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa. Barbara is also a consultant in private practice working with medical groups, individuals, and companies, in addition to conducting workshops and research.
