Overview
Naturopathic Medicine is a comprehensive system that addresses the whole person and their total care. It is grounded in the concept of the bodies inherent ability to heal itself. The therapies are designed to support that concept.
Like Medical Doctors, Naturopathic Medicine training is a four year program after graduating from college. Two years are basic science and two years are clinical application training. Naturopathic schools are accredited nationally and in 13 states, including California, Naturopathic Doctors (ND) are licensened as primary providers.
